Social Consultancy Group was founded in the year 2006 by IT professionals who wanted to give back something to the society but did not know the ways and means. The thought process invariably shifted from donation, to working at the grass root levels to a final concept which was workable and sustainable.
The concept revolves around the provision of IT services & consultancy services to corporates by using the available latent IT pool interested in social activities. Our core mission is to holistically contribute to India’s socio-economic development by creating a corpus to fund diverse NGO’s.

Our organization model is called as SCGOPM (Social Consultancy Group Organizational Pyramid Model). Members are subjected to an extensive review prior joining the group. The roles and responsibilities in current organizations are mapped with the required responsibilities at SCG and then classified at various levels in the pyramid model.
Tier 1 (Novice): Members are encouraged to join this level if the experience is academic or theoretical. With practical experience from Tier 2 & Tier 3, the members at this level can further move higher up in the pyramid to gain prominent roles.
Tier 2 (Practitioner): Experienced members, who have hands on experience at the competency which the pyramid represents, are included at this level. With the help of guidance from Tier 3, these members can further hone their skills.
Tier 3 (Expert): This is the level of nirvana. The members at this level are highly experienced and are available for expert advise on any given issue related to the competence which the pyramid represents. With extensive amount of knowledge and experience, the members at this level act as mentors for members at Tier 1 and Tier 2.
